Let no man despise thy youth; but be an example of the believers,
in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12)

The Youth Ministry of JMBC allows high school and middle school students to develop deep and meaningful relationships with Christ and each other. Each week, students meet for discussion and Bible study.

Students invite friends, enjoy good food, and get valuable discipleship tools for life in a way that relates to them.

Bible Study and teaching are designed to educate, to challenge, and to apply.

The Pray for Me Campaign continues in 2017.  The Pray for Me Campaign teams each middle school, high school, and college student with three adult believers to be their Prayer Champions for a school year. Our goal is to equip young people with the intergenerational relationships they need to stay connected in the church and rooted in their faith.

Each student is teamed with three adults from three different generations to be their Prayer Champions each school year. This teaming builds a bridge from their generation to the next which their Prayer Champions can cross at any time. The result is a vast web of vital intergenerational relationships.

Prayer Champions pray using the Pray for Me Prayer Guide, which is designed to help adults stay the course in effectively praying Scripture over their student for a school year. It covers 7 Essential Biblical categories that ensure students are prayed for in ways critical to their flourishing in the faith.

In need of Prayer Champions?  Or interested in becoming a Prayer Champion?  Click here to Volunteer; enter your contact information and select “Pray for Me Campaign” from the drop-down list.  Someone will follow up with you.
