“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Jackson Memorial offers a wonderfully engaging program rooted in God’s Word for your preschooler. Our mission is to connect children with Jesus, the only One who can save us from sin and fill us with eternal life. And we are blessed to partner with you in guiding young lives for a relationship built on the Cornerstone. It is our prayer and devotion to equip children for whatever plan God has for them.
Safety and Security
Your child’s safety and security is a priority with us. We take special precautions to ensure their classrooms are free of obstacles and hazards so they can learn and play in a safe environment. All of our workers have a current Background Check on file in the Church Office.
Worship & Learning Opportunities
We have three environments where children learn about Jesus Christ and all that He does: Life Groups, Kids Worship, and Children in Action. All activities take place on the second floor in the Children’s Wing.

Children in Action
is the Sunday School time for children as well as adults. Children are divided into groups to receive a lesson according to their appropriate grade level. We are currently working through the Gospel Project. This is a study created by Lifeway where all classes encounter the same Bible stories for unity/fellowship with learning how Jesus is the center throughout the Scriptures.
is our worship service for kids. While adults are being taught in worship, kids are doing the same, but on their level. We sing, pray, and dive into God’s Word. I strive to give kids a lesson that is applicable and interesting to them while keeping to the context of God’s Word. Proverbs 22:6 states, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Our mission is to impart the knowledge of the gospel to your children so they will be a light unto the world.
Children in Action
Children in Action is a Wednesday night program for children with a focus on missions. As children are introduced to missional concepts, they learn they have an active part to play in God’s plan for their lives and for the world. They come to understand God can use them now—even in their youth—to share His love with others and make a difference. Experiences gained through childhood missions education lead to a lifelong commitment of service to God, His mission, and His church. We examine what the scripture says about missions, where and how our church participates in missions, and what kids can do to take part in spreading the gospel message.
