Our Curriculum
Digging Into The Heart of God brings a fresh approach to growing a lifelong relationship with God. As kids explore God’s character throughout the Bible, God transforms them from the inside out. With the Heart of God curriculum, kids discover what it means to reflect the heart of God in everyday life.
Scope & Sequence
Sunday Mornings

JMBC’s littlest ones, birth – kindergarten, experience God’s love as they dig into God’s Word with members of the God’s Clubhouse team. Each week children learn and grow as team members share Biblical truths, creating deeper Bible experiences through age appropriate hands on games, activities, prayer and music, establishing the foundation of a lifelong relationship with God.

Mission Friends
The journey to make disciples of Jesus who live on mission begins as you lead your preschoolers to grow in missions. Preschoolers come to understand that God loves me, God loves all people, and some people do not know about God’s love.

- Pray for missionaries and people who need to hear of God’s love.
- Give to missions through cooperative giving and special missions offerings.
- Do missions by helping others in your church, your community, and around the world.

Safety & Security
Your preschooler’s safety and security is a priority with us. We take special precautions to ensure their classrooms are free of obstacles and hazards so they can learn and play in a safe environment. All of our workers have a current background check on file in the church office.
Meet Our Preschool and Children’s Director – Mary Terwilliger
Mary Terwilliger has such a heart for preschoolers and children and has been in the preschool/children’s hall for the last 16 years – on Sundays and during the week with Jackson Christian Preschool. She answered the call to JMBC’s Preschool and Children Ministry Director in December 2017. Mary has often been heard saying, “There is nothing sweeter than hearing and seeing God’s Word through their eyes.” She passionately wants those she serves with as well as the children and their families to know that they are loved and precious in the eyes of the One who created them.
Mary received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in December 2018. She is committed continued growth both spiritually and professionally, always striving to be the best Mary God has called her to be. Her purpose is found in Psalm 78:7, “Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget His deed but keep His commands”.
